Phase-I (2000-01)

Overall financial achievement in Phase-I work is 97.72%. 518 roads have been completed with an expenditure of Rs.167.00 crore. In this phase a total of 949.808kms. of road have been blacktopped, 59.549 kms. developed as concrete road. Besides 1957 nos. of CD works have been completed.

Phase-II (2001-02 & 2002-2003)

In the Second Phase, overall financial achievement of the State is 96.88%. 564 roads out of 571 have been completed with an expenditure of Rs.339.95 Crore. In this phase a total stretch of 1480.131 Kms of road have been blacktopped, 141.846 kms developed as concrete roads. Besides, 4049 Nos. of CD works have been completed. The overall physical achievement is 96.88% in terms of number of roads completed.

Phase-III (2003-04) (Part-I)

Under this phase 347 roads with total length of 997.997 kms. and 2645 CD works were proposed to be taken up in 113 packages. 343 roads have been taken up in 113 packages and works for 343 roads have been started. The total awarded cost for all these 343 roads is Rs.195.65 crores.

Out of the said 343 roads, 325 roads have been completed. Total length of 856.032 km has been black topped and 76.114 kms. developed as concrete road. Besides 2314 CD works have been constructed with a total value of Rs.188.02 Crore. The percentage of financial progress is 96.10%. The physical progress is 94.47% in terms of roads completed.

Phase-III (2003-04) (Part-II)

Under this phase, 283 roads with total length of 1013.90 kms. with 2948 CD works have been sanctioned to be taken up in 115 packages. Out of the said works, 277 roads with 1006.175 km with 2745 CD works have been taken up in 114 packages with the total awarded cost of Rs.246.54 Crore (excluding maintenance cost).

277 roads have been started, out of which 252 have been completed. The total value of work done is Rs.229.66 crore. The percentage of financial achievement is 93.15%. The physical progress in terms of number of roads completed is 90.97%. In this phase 805.824 km of roads have been black topped and 79.886 kms of concrete roads have been constructed. Besides 2537 CD works have been completed.

Phase-IV

418 roads covering a length of 1645.12 kms and 4257 number of CD works have been sanctioned for construction in 177 packages. The total approved cost of these projects is Rs.398.70 crore.

414 roads have been started out of which 336 roads have been completed. In this Phase, 1255.52 km of BT and 136.55 km CC works have been executed. Besides 3630 CD works have been completed up to the end of June’ 08.

Works worth Rs.347.38 crore have been done and the percentage of financial achievement is 90.77%. During the month, payment for a sum of Rs.1.7234 Crore has been made against the value of work done to the tune of Rs.0.8697 Crores. During the month, 6 roads have been completed. The physical achievement made so far is 80.96% in terms of roads completed.

Phase-V

Under this phase, 476 roads covering a length of 1861.671 kms with total sanctioned cost of Rs.530.96 crore have been sanctioned. Out of 459 roads, 448 roads have been started. The total value of work done is Rs.380.37 crore which marks 76.70%. The actual payment made is Rs.371.54 crore. The total no. of roads completed is 297.

Phase-VI

Under this phase, 443 roads covering a length of 1412.65 kms with total sanctioned cost of Rs.579.84 crore. 267 roads have been started. The total value of work done is Rs.204.91 crores which marks a financial progress of 52.31%. Actual payment made is Rs.198.83 crore. Up to the end of the month 46 roads have been completed. Up to the end of the month 263.94 km of BT, 111.75 km of CC have been completed and 2016 CD works have been constructed.

 ADB (Bach-I) Assisted projects

Under this phase, 257 roads were sanctioned covering a length of 1189.174 kms with total estimated cost of Rs.349.46 crore. 215 roads have been started. The total value of work done is Rs.211.90 crore which marks 66.50% financial progress. Actual payment made is Rs.207.61 crore. Besides 1930 nos. of CD works, 573.25 Km BT, 138.9 km Concrete roads have been constructed till the end of the month. The number of roads completed is 123 which marks 53.71% of physical progress in terms of roads awarded.

ADB (Bach-II) Assisted projects

Under this phase, 400 roads were sanctioned covering a length of 1612.22 kms with total cost of Rs.513.81 crore were sanctioned. 308 roads have been started. The total value of work done is Rs.276.58 crore which marks 65.88% financial progress. Actual payment made is Rs.273.65 crore. Up to the end of the month 106 roads have been completed and during the month 19 roads have been completed.Up to the end of the month, 546.52 km BT, 111.3 km concrete and 2902 CD works have been constructed.

Phase-VII

Under this Phase, 1689 roads covering a length of 6617.04 Km have been sanctioned for an amount of Rs.2668.43 Crores. Out of the same, 927 roads covering a length of 3744.24 Km (NC 2996.07 Km + UG 748.17 Km) have been awarded with an amount of Rs.1529.75 Crores. Up to the end of the month, 781 roads have been started and of the same 33.37 kms BT, 109.69 km Concrete ,3771 CD works constructed and 2 roads have been completed.
