RESOLUTION

 Sub :-          Refixation of Cadre strength of Regional Transport Officers.

 Consequent upon creation of 8 new R.T.O. offices in the State, the question of refixation of the Cadre strength of the R.T.Os has drawn the attention of the Government.

 Earlier the Cadre strength of the R.T.Os was fixed at 18 (Eighteen), out of which 12 (Twelve) posts were to be manned by the Officers of OAS-I (JB), 5 (Five) posts by the Officers of O.T.E.S-I (J.B) and the rest one by the Departmental Officers by way of promotion from the post of Addl. R.T.O. (Gen.) as decided by the Government.

 As there has been an increase in the number of R.T.O. Officers in the State from 18 (Eighteen) to 26 (Twentysix), Government have been pleased to consider the issue and decide that the Cadre strength of the R.T.Os is refixed with a total number of 26 (Twentysix), out of which 12 (Twelve) posts of R.T.Os are to be manned by the Officers of OAS-I (JB), 13 (Thirteen) posts by the Officers of OTES-I (JB) and the rest one by the Officer on promotion from Addl. R.T.O. (Gen.) Cadre.
