1.      The General Administration Department promotes development of the capital city, Bhubaneswar through grant- in- aid to BDA and other agencies for Infrastructure Development such as: construction/ Improvement/ widening of roads and drains, improvement of Water Supply, Sewerage facilities, storm water drainage system, improvement of environment & Plantation and maintenance of parks and gardens. The Government estates, particularly residential and nonresidential buildings, are also maintained through R&B, Electrical and PH engineering divisions. The Budgetary Allocation for State Capital Project under state plan in the year 2004-05 is Rs.580.00 lakhs.
