      This NAC was established in the year 1961.  It is functioning with 11 numbers of wards with an area of 2.59 Sqr. Kms. having the population 6,660 as per 2001 census.  It is situated on the sea shore of Bay of Bengal.  Its natural beauty attracts the tourists to visit the place now and then.  It is going to be one of the prospective town of Orissa, Following development programmes have been taken up for the development and beautification of the town.

 

 

 

A sea beach road / protection wall has been constructed out of C.M.R.F. grant to enhance the get up and glammer of the town.
