DEVELOPMENT OF PARKS AND ROAD SIDE BEAUTIFICATION 

            B.M.C has decided to develop some parks with active participation/contribution from the local inhabitants. A scheme is under preparation, where-in B.M.C will invest 90% of the cost after 10% investment is made by local area Welfare Association. In the 1^st year 75% of the maintenance cost will be borne by B.M.C and balance 25% will be borne by the Local People. B.M.C will bear 50% in the 2^nd year and  25% in the third year and the balance cost will be borne by the Local inhabitants. From 4^th year onwards, the parks will be completely maintained by the Local People.

            Similarly road side beautification and plantation programmes are going to be taken up by B.M.C in a bigger way through outsourcing.
