Shri Rameswar Thakur, His Excellency the Governor of Orissa, as a goodwill gesture, ordered  that  the  Raj Bhavan Gardens be opened  to the school children from 27th Decemeber 2004 to  28th February , 2005  and   accordingly  school children are  visiting the Raj Bhavan Gardens daily with  great  interest. The school children are permitted to visit the gardens till 23rd of this month and also from 28th January, 2005 to 2nd February, 2005.

Now, His Excellency has given directions that the Raj Bhavan gardens be opened to the public also between 4 to 5 p.m. daily from 16th January to 23rd January and also from 28th January to 2nd February, 2005.
