Sub. :   Submission of property statements by OAS-I (JB) and OAS-II Officers.

 

Ref   :  This Department letter No.1584, dt.11.01.2007.

 

Sir,

            I am directed to say that according to Rule-21 (4) of the Orissa Government Servant’s conduct Rules, 1959, every Government servant is required to make a true and complete declaration before the end of January at an interval of three years of all his assets, movable and immovable properties and value thereof and to submit the same in the prescribed form to the specified authority in a sealed cover.

            2. It is noticed that, the above instructions are not being scrupulously followed by many OAS-I (JB) and OAS-II Officers working under your control. So all the OAS-I (JB) and OAS-II Officers working in your district may please be asked to submit their property statements in a separate sealed cover with a caption “Sealed Cover for the period from _____________ to ______________” indicating their address to this Department by 25th September, 2008 positively failing which they shall be liable for disciplinary action.
