Establishment of 1000 ST Girls’ Hostels
With a view to enhance ST female literacy, 1000 ST Girls Hostels has been opened in all the 30 districts. Each hostel has been provided with amenities such as boundary wall, toilets and bathrooms. (1:10) cots with mosquito nets, utensils, safe drinking water, ladies cook-cum-attendant with quarters etc. The detailed position till October 2007 is stated below.
