SPECIAL PROVISIONS

• Special Employment Exchange for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

• Pre-Examination Coaching and Training

• Pre-Recruitment Training for entry into Armed and Para Military forces.

• Provision of Legal Aid to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes persons

• Monetary Relief to the victims of Atrocities belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as compensation.

COUNCILS AND COMMITTEE

Tribes Advisory Council :

• Tribes Advisory Council has been constituted in the State in pursuance of Paragraph 4(i) of the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of India. Chief Minister is the Chairman and the Minister in charge of ST & SC Development is the Deputy Chairman and other 15 MLAs, 2 MPs and one Women representative function as Members to advice on such matters pertaining to welfare and advancement of Schedule Tribes in the State.

Scheduled Castes Welfare Advisory Board:

• Scheduled Castes Welfare Advisory Board has been constituted with Chief Minister as Chairman and Minister, ST & SC Development as Deputy Chairman and another 18 members from among the MPs, MLAs and non-officials to advise the State Government in all matters pertaining to Harijan Welfare.
